Welcome to Ok Snap. By using our web app and related services ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Account creation: Creating an account (sign up) indicates that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You can review them at any time from Settings or the links provided during sign-up.

1. Description of Service

Ok Snap provides a food recognition and recipe discovery service. You can upload or capture photos of food to get information, recipes, and related content. Some features may be subject to usage limits (e.g., daily scans for guests).

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or infringes others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or third-party services we use
• Scrape, automate, or overload our systems in a way that could harm the Service

We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software (excluding user content and third-party content), is owned by Ok Snap or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our permission. Recipe and food content may be sourced from third parties and is subject to their respective terms.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of photos and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use, process, and store it as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., food recognition and saving your history). We do not claim ownership of your content or use it for advertising beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that food recognition or nutritional information is accurate or complete. Always use your judgment and, when relevant, consult health or dietary professionals. We are not responsible for third-party content (e.g., recipes, links) or for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ok Snap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or, if none, zero.

7. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may change or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
